The past few days I've been trying to dig deeper in Ruby. I've been reading some good books (mostly about patterns) and I've been doing some exercises. After struggling a bit (a lot) I now have a good project idea. When I first came here I felt like everybody already had awesome ideas and I was kind of in the limb. If I manage to do it, I will be able to practice different aspects of the language at the same time, which seems really exciting.

As an exercise, I've been trying to use Sinatra - a lightweight Ruby framework - and I've managed to do some simple applications. It seems quite easy to use, after your understand the basic concepts. Still haven't tried Rails. Perhaps I'll do that in sequence. I also need to get a code review from Tom, hopefully I can get this out of my way today.
